Hello! Today’s post will not be a very long one. April is the month for Autism Awareness and the color that represents this month is blue. I really wanted to do this before the month is over. So for today’s manicure I did a gradient using three nail polishes. The polishes are:

Wet n’ Wild- Here Comes Trouble
Sally Hansen- Pacific Blue
Revlon-Urban

Then I used white polish and a nail striper and I drew a heart on my ring finger.

Thank you for stopping by and sorry (again) that the post is short.

Hi, everyone! I hope everyone is having a nice day today! (even if the day is almost over) Today’s manicure is a small review and a little nail art. I am trying out for the first time a polish from O.P.I’s line; it is part of the gumdrop collection. The swatch you will see today, the color or name of the polish is called My Cherry Amour. I think this collection is not really new. I used two coats of the polish to get the color you see below. According to the small instructions that come with the bottle, you are not supposed to put a topcoat because it is supposed to be a matte finish. It is really pretty with or without a topcoat, and it has a very unique texture finish(like it is supposed to). The color is so pretty and it is opaque. I did not only want to do a swatch so I painted a black v-shaped French tip (if that is what they are called?)

Thank you for stopping by and have a nice week !

Hi, everyone! So, for today’s post I am doing something different. I wanted to do a little review on the Sally Hansen Xtreme wear Nail Color line. On the website, it says there are 45 different shades to choose from.  A very well-known color can also be found in this specific line and it is 420 Pacific Blue. I am going to talk about what I like about the product. The price is really good, each bottle according to ulta and drugstores such as Rite-Aid and CVS retail around $2.99. It contains 11.8mL/ .40 fl.oz. They are long lasting with a top coat on, they do not chip very easily, however if you do any strenuous work with your hands it might chip; but that is the case with a lot of nail polishes. There is a good selection of colors. I do not have much that I dislike about the product. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who likes nail polish.

This one is called Purple Potion-350
It looks different, because I wanted to see different lightings.

I have been trying out a few other ones, and I will update on what I think. Thank you for taking the time to read this post, even if it was a bit long. Sorry if the review was a bit confusing. Thank you again!

Happy Easter! Today’s manicure is an Easter Manicure. I guess because Easter is in the Spring, a lot of Easter manicures I have seen use a lot of pastel colors. For this manicure I wanted to try pastel colors as well. I do not own a lot of pastel colors because they do not look that good on my hand.

Anyways for the base color I used a Pure Ice Polish called Skinny Dip and the polish I used to top the base is from Revlon it is number 770 called Heavenly.

The cross design on my fourth finger actually was from the book pictured above. I did show this book before because it did inspire another manicure.

(a verse from the KJV Bible for Easter)
But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
                                                                                    Isaiah 53:5 (KJV)

I even got to show another midi-ring I have, but it is in silver. Thank you very much for stopping by! Sorry it is a short post, however Enjoy and have a Blessed Weekend!

Hey Hey! How are you doing? Today’s manicure, is a recreation of an old manicure. Two posts before this one I did a  manicure with Revlon’s Urban.  I wanted to do it again with different colors. I think that this time around, this manicure is something that you might want to wear during any fancy event(s) that you might attend. I only used two colors, the first one is Sinful Colors called Whipped. It is a matte black polish and the second one is part of the Carrie Underwood collection that is under Nicole by O.P.I. (if that makes sense) called Carrie’d Away. It is this really nice somewhat subtle gold polish.  I also bought a midi ring from Icing. I also get to feature it here as well.

So first I just painted my nails with two coats on the black polish. This is the polish with a fast drying top coat.

Then to get the curve I used a french nail art sticker guide (sorry if that is the wrong name) but instead of placing the sticker on the top of the nail I placed it on the side. Then I added the gold polish. I had to use three coats of the gold polish to fully cover the black polish underneath.

Then finish with the topcoat of your choice. I apologize if the instructions were not as clear, however, thank you for stopping by!

Hi! I am back again! Let us go straight to business (lol), today’s manicure is I guess more of a practice manicure. I did do this kind of design before but I used a light blue instead of pink. I like to do some designs over but in different colors and in different ways. Anyways it is getting warmer in New York, so I decided to try this certain design with pink acrylic paint.  The design that I am mentioning is a spiral rose, the tutorial that I followed can be found on youtube under the username cutepolish. I will leave the link here to the tutorial. It took me a while to hand paint two roses, that why only did two.

Thank you for stopping by! Maybe, I might post later on this week :)

Hello, I am back again! It is Spring Break! (Finally) So, now I am able to do a lot more nail art because I have more time. So today’s nail art was inspired from a girl who was sitting next to me on the train. I was on my way home from school, and I have to ride a subway to go home. I sat next to this girl who was wearing animal print. I then was inspired to do it on my nails.

I only used three colors, just a regular red, white and black polish.

On my ring finger I saw this design a lot on instagram and I was also wanted to try it as well.

I will be posting soon and maybe.. I will be able to do some reviews of new polishes.
Thank you very much for stopping by!

Hello, I know that I have not been doing much nail art but it is coming soon because next week is finally Spring Break! Today’s manicure is a really simple manicure, I am not sure what to call it, but I actually like how it turned out. I only used one color and it is from Revlon. It is number 490 called Urban. It is this really nice dark blue, it makes me feel really sophisticated (lol) when I wear it. I think that anyone can wear this color and it would look really elegant and fancy.

Thank you for stopping by!

Hi, I am back! I had to let my nails rest for a while. Today I will show you two manicures that I did using two colors from new Wet n’ Wild Spring Polishes. I know that the first manicure I will show you with a studded chevron design is part of their Limited Edition Spring 2014 line, but I am not sure about the second one.

The first manicure I used Wet n’ Wild: Temptation

This color is a really nice and bright coral polish, and it is very opaque and you only need to use one to two coats.

In the second manicure I used Wet n’ Wild: Blazed

That is it for today’s manicures. Thank you for stopping by!
